I'm seriously not worried. I think the second there is a confirmed case in my state I may start to get nervous. But doesn't the regular flu kill like a hundred thousand people a year anyways?? These numbers aren't even close to that..

- I am a 24yr old mother of four kids ages 5, 4, 2 and 8mo. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 6 1/2 years. I work at an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment center for adolescents. I love my crazy, stressful, wonderful life.
I am nervous because my parents are in Texas visiting my brother's family right now. Plus, you can have it for 6 days and be passing it around without even knowing it. I hope they don't mind that I don't bring my family around for a week after they get home. My brother that works for Homeland Security says that the CDC has classified it as a 5/6 on their emergency scale - 6 being an epidemic. I hope they get a handle on it before it hits my state (we have lots of hispanics here so I hope none have been back to the motherland recently)
